Players take on the role of Asahi Tachibana, who leads a group of unique characters on a mission to eliminate anything that falls out of sync with reality. The gameplay is divided into two main segments: exploration and combat. In the exploration segment, players navigate the accurately recreated streets of Akihabara, interacting with its eccentric residents, collecting information, and triggering events related to the overarching mystery.

Combat occurs within the “Delusions capes,” fantasy-themed dungeons that manifest from the deepest desires of Akihabara’s residents. These dungeons teem with “delusions,” monstrous embodiments of twisted desires that players must fight in a party-based action battle system.
