Plot and Story

In Unit 13, players step into the boots of a member of an elite military and intelligence group known as “Unit 13”. The storyline doesn’t follow a single overarching narrative but presents 45 action-packed missions. Each mission unfolds its mini-story, providing context and objectives that revolve around various special operations themes such as hostage rescue, infiltration, sabotage, and elimination of high-value targets. This structure allows the game to focus on its intense, mission-based gameplay, offering an immersive experience to players seeking a military shooter.

Gameplay and Graphics

Unit 13 is a third-person shooter that harnesses the capabilities of the PlayStation Vita to deliver a full-fledged shooter experience in a portable format. The game is designed around Vita’s control scheme, utilizing dual analog sticks for precision control and front and rear touchpads for interactive gameplay. Unit 13’s mission structure supports a non-linear approach, letting players plan their strategies based on their operative’s specialties and the vast array of weapons and gear. Players can also play solo or team up with a friend in a two-player cooperative mode, further enriching the gameplay experience. Characters

Unit 13 allows players to choose from six special operatives with unique specialties, weapons, gear, and progression paths. The selection includes a Commando, a Technician, a Pointman, a Gunner, an Infiltrator, and a Marksman.
