Rare is resurrecting one of its most popular and profitable properties with the third episode of the Banjo-Kazooie series, which will be available only on Xbox 360. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts welcomes new and old fans as the iconic bear and bird team returns in breathtaking high definition for a one-of-a-kind adventure of epic proportions. The Lord of the Games (or LOG) is sick of Banjo and the evil witch Gruntilda (aka Grunty) arguing over the years and has organized a battle to determine the actual owner of Spiral Mountain. LOG has developed the game environments where the contest’s tasks occur, claiming to have invented every video game ever made. Banjo must overcome LOG’s tasks to win, while Grunty does whatever trick her evil mind can think up to hinder him. Players develop their skills throughout the quest by creating vehicles for Banjo to navigate across land, water, and air. Vehicle parts are acquired and gathered during the game, ranging from fundamental devices like engines and wheels to odd items like springs and egg cannons. Players use their imagination to assemble components in any sequence to build whatever vehicle they choose. The tasks in LOG have a single goal, but their vehicle and tactics determine how players get there. Players of all ages will be rewarded with increasingly complex and diversified vehicle components as they explore realms and solve challenges to defeat Grunty.
