Saw II: Flesh & Blood

In Saw II: Flesh & Blood, the crazed serial murderer Jigsaw returns with more cruel torture puzzles meant to test the limits of human decency. Set between the second and third Saw films, Flesh & Blood places players in the shoes of Michael, the son of the previous game’s protagonist Detective David Tapp, as he searches for clues to his father’s death and becomes Jigsaw’s and his bizarre pupil Pighead II’s newest victim. The gameplay combines survival horror and puzzle-solving with light combat components. Players strive to save themselves and others from life-or-death situations by completing mini-games and quick-time events. Combat has two forms: melee strikes and a range of weaponry used in physical clashes against Jigsaw’s goons or puzzle-based attacks that exploit traps and environmental dangers. Various case files are scattered around the game’s hotels, factories, and sewers, and players may also collect several Billy the Puppet toys concealed throughout each level. Saw II: Flesh & Blood, like its predecessor, has numerous endings depending on gamers’ decisions during the plot.
