Yuke’s and Visual Concepts created the video game about professional wrestling known as WWE 2K14, which 2K Sports released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the first video game that 2K Sports has released since Take-Two Interactive acquired the rights to publish THQ’s games as a result of the latter company’s filing for bankruptcy. It is the follow-up to WWE ’13, and WWE 2K15 is the game that came out after it. This is the very first installment in the WWE 2K series of video games. On October 29, 2013, it was made available for purchase in Japan, and on November 1, 2013, it was made available for purchase in Europe.
