The developers of the Mortal Kombat video game franchise have created a new fighting game called Injustice: Gods Among Us, which features characters from the DC Comics universe.
The gameplay consists of hand-to-hand combat in a 2D environment with 3D elements and characters, including certain weapons such as the Batmobile; some of the scenarios are taken from DC comics, such as the Fortress of Solitude (Superman), the Batcave (Batman), and the Watchtower (Justice League). There are a total of 28 playable characters in this game, including 12 heroes, 12 villains, and 4 downloadable characters.
