Max Payne 3

The events of Max Payne 3, the third game in Rockstar Studios’ Max Payne series, take place eight years after the conclusion of the last game in the series, Max Payne 2. Max is no longer a police officer, and in addition to being an addict to opioids, he is also an alcoholic. Max has left the greater New York area because he could not obtain employment on the police force there, and he works as a private security guard in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the heart of Max Payne, 3 is the story of Max’s transformation from a vengeful, leather-jacketed investigator prowling the streets of New York to a broken, shaven-headed man searching for justice on new streets far from home. Natural Motion’s Euphoria character behavior system and Bullet Time have been combined to create an enhanced version of Max’s iconic shoot-dodge moves. These new moves are in addition to Max’s traditional shoot-dodge moves. In this game, Max will be assisted in his pursuit of vengeance by several allies and companions who will play important roles.
