In the narrative, the resistance on planet Earth attempts to stop a lethal infection that consumes both living forms and technology. Oddly enough, they must rely on an anti-hero mercenary and bounty hunter to pilot a powerful prototype star fighter. His objective was to battle his way to the source of the virus, save humanity, and make a profit in the process.
