Ron Gilbert, the creator of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion, along with Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio that was responsible for Psychonauts and Brütal Legend, have collaborated on a new adventure game called The Cave.
Consolidate your team of three from seven improbable adventurers, all of whom have their own distinct personalities and backstories, and then descend into the unknown depths to investigate locations such as a subterranean amusement park and a medieval castle, in addition to a fully armed and ready-to-launch nuclear-tipped ICBM.
