You return as Sam Fisher in Pandora Tomorrow alongside old friends Irving Lambert and Anna Grimsdottir. A terrorist has developed a disease that he intends to spread throughout the United States. He makes daily phone calls to an undisclosed location, delaying the disease’s release by one day. As Fisher, you must discover who the terrorist is, where he is, for whom he works, and most importantly, stop him. You are taken worldwide to accomplish this, from Paris to Indonesia to the Holy land of Jerusalem. Sam is armed with his standard pistol and the SC-20K. The SC has been enhanced by adding a scope with two zoom levels. You can access the first game’s equipment, including Sticky Shockers, Diversion Cameras, Frag and Smoke Grenades. Sam has also picked up some new moves. He can perform a SWAT turn, allowing him to move from one side of an open the door to another without being seen. He can do a half-split jump, enabling him to lean against one side of a wall for a boost to jump higher. He can also whistle to draw the attention of any enemies nearby. Pandora Tomorrow also includes a full-fledged multiplayer game that can be played on Xbox Live. The multiplayer mode is linked to the single-player campaign and pits the Shadownet (spies) team against the Argus team (mercs). The game can accommodate four players. Shadownet members must infiltrate various complexes to retrieve canisters of a lethal liquid. Still, they must be wary of cameras, motion sensors, and trip lasers, all alerting the mercs to their location. The spy cannot kill with weapons, but he can stun the mercenaries for a few seconds before sneaking up and killing from behind.
On the other hand, the mercs must make their way to each canister while protecting it from the Shadownet team. When an alarm goes off, the merc is immediately alerted to the spy’s location. To aid in the fight against the Shadownets, the mercs have a built-in motion sensor view that detects any moving objects and an electromagnetic view that sees spy gadgets. The mercenaries are armed with rifles and must protect the viral canisters at all costs. Multiplayer includes many maps, from a warehouse and a factory to a cinema and three skyscrapers. More maps will be added to Xbox Live in the future.
