Warhawk

Warhawk is a multiplayer vehicle and flight combat video game developed by Incognito Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game is played in a third-person perspective. It is a reimagining of the same-named game, which focused on aerial combat and was released as a launch title for the original PlayStation console. Except for the fact that players continue to pilot aircraft, the remake is very different from the original in almost every way. It was the first PlayStation 3 game available in retail stores on Blu-ray discs and downloadable from the PlayStation Network. The Blu-ray Disc and PlayStation Network versions were released on August 28, 2007, the same day they were released in other countries. In the order of their release dates, the PlayStation Network version was made available in Europe on August 30, Australia on August 31, and Japan on October 4. The Blu-ray Disc version became available in Australia and Europe on September 20 and September 21, respectively. It was not, however, made available for purchase in Japan.
