X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Wolverine is the name of a hack-and-slash action-adventure video game released in 2009 and is only tangentially based on the film of the same name. On the same day, the movie was released, May 1, 2009, the corresponding video game was made available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable platforms. Raven Software created most of the game using the technology known as the Unreal Engine. Amaze Entertainment was responsible for developing the ports for the Wii and PS2, while Griptonite Games was responsible for developing the ports for the PSP and DS. On January 1, 2014, X-Men Origins: Wolverine was de-listed and deleted from all digital marketplaces, along with most other games that Activision had utilized the Marvel license. [1]
