Yoostar 2: In the Movies

Yoostar 2: In the Movies follows the 2009 PC game Yoostar: Be ScenScene, a movie karaoke game in which players can act out 80 famous scenes from films like 300, The Matrix, The Godfather, Kindergarten Cop, Shaun of the Dead, The Terminator, Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz, and many others. The game employs rotoscoping to remove and replace the original actors with the player’s image. To capture the player, the game requires a camera function via Kinect (Xbox 360) or PlayStation Eye (PS3), with optional Move support on the PS3. The player is placed within the scene, must imitate the original motions, and speaks the lines. Players can perform the settings exactly as written or improvise their lines. Like the SingStar games, the game grades the player based on imitating motion and gestures (a silhouette outlines where you should stand on the screen) and the rhythm of speaking the lines. There are other goals while acting out the scenes in the Challenge mode. Clips can be saved and shared via the Yoostar website, Facebook, and Twitter. DLC is available for additional movie content.
