Humanity in Chains is the first Attack on Titan game released in North America. It will be available exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS at the beginning of 2015 and will feature both the original Japanese audio and English subtitles. The game will be based on the upcoming remake of an earlier Attack on Titan game that will be released in Japan.

The video game’s plot is based on the anime series, commencing in the year 845, when the Colossal and Armored Titan launched their initial assault and destroyed Wall Maria. At the beginning of the game, the player assumes control of Eren, but as the story unfolds, Mikasa, Armin, and other soldiers of the Scout Regiment become playable characters. The game’s conclusion coincides with the conclusion of the anime’s first season.

The game puts players in the position of characters from the Attack on Titan series, or a feeling they have created themselves, and tasks them using three-dimensional maneuver gear to engage Titans, giants that hunt and consume humanity.

FEATURES

  • Story Mode. Defending the outer walls against the Titans as a member of the elite Scout Regiment will test a player’s mettle to its absolute maximum in order to ensure the survival of mankind. Enhanced Titan AI behavior will drain every ounce of capability from players as they fight for the survival of the human species in the game’s final round.
  • Characters you’re used to, with some new twists on their appearance. Players will recognize characters like as Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackermann, and others when it comes time to choose their preferred Scout member to protect the Walls. The Scout Regiment is getting many new members, all of whom are fully modifiable in terms of their appearances, weaponry, and voices.
  • Online cooperative gameplay. The all-new online co-op mode has ranking and leaderboards, and it allows you to defend the outer walls with up to three of your friends.
  • A New Approach. The user interface has been updated, the game’s balance has been improved, and support has been added for the Circle Pad Pro and the C Stick on the New Nintendo 3DS XL. These additions bring Humanity in Chains to the next level.
