2 in 1: Asterix & Obelix: Bash Them All! + Asterix & Obelix XXL

Based on the famous French comic book series Astérix, the video game Asterix & Obelix: Bash Them All! is a two-dimensional, side-scrolling platformer. It is a compilation that includes two different games. One classic is a port of the Asterix and Obelix video games from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The other game is Asterix & Cleopatra, derived from the comic book and computer-animated film of the same name. In the movie “Asterix and Cleopatra,” Asterix is tasked with assisting Artifis, an Egyptian architect, in constructing a pyramid for Cleopatra. You will play stages characteristic of platform games, in which you will avoid obstacles by jumping over them and going towards the right side of the screen. The Game Boy Advance version of Astérix & Obélix XXL follows the same narrative as its console and PC counterparts. Still, the 3D platformer gameplay is presented in brand-new and unique levels that are created in an engine that has been adapted specifically for the Game Boy Advance. Asterix and Obelix had to go through six Roman provinces, each of which had five or more levels, to rescue the people of their village from Roman captivity and keep the recipe for the magic potion from coming into the hands of the Romans. Additionally, they had to prevent the Romans from gaining access to the formula for the magic potion.
