Bijou saw a beautiful rainbow while playing outside one day. The rainbow fades away, and Prince Bo collapses to the ground. The Prince claims that he can create rainbows with his umbrella. He attempts to convince Stan and the rest of the Ham-Hams but learns too late that the colors on his umbrella have vanished. As a result, Hamtaro and his Ham-Ham buddies must embark on a quest to gather items of the appropriate hue for Prince Bo to use as his umbrella for him to construct a rainbow and return home.
