This NBA Jam game for the Game Boy Advance (which is not based on the SNES version’s assets) has various gameplay modes with the same familiar, over-the-top basketball action. Players can select from any of the 29 NBA clubs in the league, and each of those teams has several important players—over 140 superstars in total—for them to manage while the game is in progress. If you want to show off your skills on the court, it’s best to know which professional players are the ones you should be picking up if you want to emulate the playing techniques of the pros in the game, from the way they handle the ball to the way they dunk the ball. The game includes the series’ signature alley-oops, sky passes, and the always-extreme “on fire” mode, triggered after a player scores three consecutive baskets.
