Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam offers an original skateboarding experience, primarily emphasizing head-to-head competition. The game allows players to experience the breakneck speed of downhill competition as they blast up the world’s steepest terrains while stunting and outmaneuvering opponents in destinations such as San Francisco, Machu Picchu, and Hong Kong. Players may also feel the adrenaline rush of competing in a downhill event. Players engage in timed tasks in one of the game’s three gameplay modes, which include race, trick, and slalom, taking on the role of Tony Hawk or any of the other nine playable characters.
