The 13th installment in the Armored Core series is Armored Core: For Answer. The Earth has gotten immensely polluted and is coming apart ten years after the National Dismantlement War. “The League,” a corporate group, chose to establish the “Cradle System” high above the Earth to safeguard civilians. Still, the system that runs the habitats only makes matters worse on the surface. They rule and govern the planet below utilizing these platforms and a high-tech army. When they learn of this, a group of surface dwellers known as “The Line Ark” create a rebel group and fight “The League” in an attempt to restore order out of chaos.
Another mysterious faction known as the “ORCA” has emerged in this, their motivations unclear to both sides. The player takes on the position of a mercenary, choosing which side they want to work for. They are then given a mech and the most modern weaponry, and they must fulfill tasks to win battles and, eventually, the war for their side. The gameplay includes traveling through levels, defeating numerous adversaries, and achieving specific objectives such as hitting enemies, protecting allies, or acquiring the technology. Players must also face massive mech bosses to proceed to higher levels, and they can modify their mech in a variety of ways, including color, weapons, and so on. The camera is positioned behind the player, and the user can move it around by using the analog stick. There are also multiplayer options, such as co-op, in which a friend can join in and assist them at any time during the game. Players can also go online and combat pals in deathmatches utilizing their own service.
