In this huge multiplayer-focused game, players have the option of defending humanity as a member of the Global Defense Force (GDF) or destroying it as a vicious Strogg alien invader. Players take on one of five distinct classes in either the traditionally armed GDF army or the futuristic Strogg invading force, each of which is supplied with specialized weaponry and combat systems. In this high-octane battle for survival, contending armies employ a wide range of vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems, such as quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults and helicopters and anti-gravity ships for airborne attacks.
Teams develop bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and sophisticated forward-command systems into enemy territory, and build and demolish obstacles to hasten advancement and gain a tactical advantage over the opponent. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars supports 16-player fights on console systems, giving the ultimate team-and-objective-based multiplayer experience.
