A first-person shooter video game called Space Invaders Infinity Gene was developed and published as a part of the Space Invaders brand. The gameplay and characters from previous entries in the series are combined with the idea of evolution in this game. Taito Company was the game’s creator, while Square Enix was in charge of distribution. After initially debuting on Japanese mobile phones, the game was available for download on the iOS platform on July 27, 2009. It was subsequently made available for download on the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Android in September of the same year.
