Terraria is a two-dimensional platform game that allows you to explore and craft. Mines and picks can be used to collect items from the environment, such as wood, ore, and even spider webs. Environmental resources can be placed or crafted into a variety of things. The simple crafting system automatically lists any item for which you have the necessary materials. The priority is establishing a base before nightfall to protect yourself from roving zombies and eyeball monsters. Many items for your home can be crafted, including doors, walls, tables, chairs, and beds. Slimes roam the land during the day and must be avoided or dispatched with a weapon such as a sword or an axe. As you collect materials, you can make more powerful weapons out of various ores and armor to protect yourself. Slimes, floating eyeballs, giant earthworms, and zombies are among the 30 monsters in the game. Building a perfect home will attract NPCs (non-player characters) to live there. These can include a merchant with whom you can trade and nurses who can heal your wounds. Terraria allows for single-player, multi-player servers, and player-versus-player combat.
