Ape Escape: On the Loose is a reimagining of the first game in the Ape Escape series and makes its debut on the PSP with support for multiplayer gameplay and a range of different minigames. The action gets underway when Specter, a monkey who has become a mad mastermind, and his army of monkeys travel back in time in an attempt to alter the course of history and take control of the planet. You are now responsible for tracking down Specter and capturing over 200 monkeys over eight distinct realms and more than 20 levels.
