Bleach: Heat the Soul 3

Bleach: Heat the Soul 3 was released on July 20, 2006, as the third episode in the Heat the Soul series. The game comprises 34 characters, spanning events from the Soul Society: The Sneak Entry storyline until the debut of Ulquiorra Schiffer at the start of The Arrancar arc. “Soul Road” and “Karakura Heroes” are exclusive to Heat the Soul 3. In Soul Road, the player must choose a character and a partner character. The player is placed on a board game-like map to pass through markers to combat adversaries. After each match, the player is given several “Trust points” (the number received varies depending on the game’s complexity) that may be used to level up partner characters and unlock benefits such as alternate outfits and additional partners. To gain access to these benefits, the player must first locate a blue marker and turn in their points; before doing so, the player must answer a multiple choice question. Karakura Heroes immerses the player in a funny side tale with additional anime scenes. Don Kanonji leads a gang of shinigami, originally Byakuya Kuchiki and Toshiro Hitsugaya, on a bizarre quest involving battles with various characters. At the end of the mode, a sequence depicts the gang relaxing at an opulent hotel, engaging in hobbies that reflect their personalities and strengths (for example, Hitsugaya snowboarding).
