The first game in the Call of Duty series for the PlayStation Portable is Call of Duty: Roads to Victory. It is based on the Call of Duty 3 PS2 version, so many mission maps were taken from there with different objectives and some other changes. The game includes 14 missions in which you take on the roles of an American trooper, a Canadian sniper, and a British commando. Your Roads to Victory will differ depending on your character, but you must eventually rid France of Nazis. You will retake bunkers, plant bombs, look for and deliver documents, and use rocket launchers to destroy enemy tanks. There’s also a mini-shooter game where you can shoot down planes from the back of a bomber plane. Four different control schemes are available, as well as an auto-aiming function. Ad Hoc multiplayer for 2-6 players is supported, as are three modes: Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and King of the Hill. Many unlocked bonuses round out the package.
