CID The Dummy

CID The Dummy is a platformer whose protagonist is a crash dummy, as the title suggests. Cid was granted exceptional abilities by its creator, Professor Werken, and is now tasked with rescuing his daughter. The action is shown in 3D, although the gameplay is bi-dimensional, as in Super Mario Galaxy. Levels present Cid with opponents and challenges — or, more precisely, cerebral hurdles — such as avoiding the sights of surveillance cameras or hitting a specified button. Cid can hit adversaries with a basic attack plus about ten special moves: each special episode is associated with a gesture to be executed with the Wii Remote, with tutorials provided to help the player familiarize himself.
