Okazaki Tomoya is a third-year high school student at Hikarizaka Private High School who lives a resentful life. While his mother died in a vehicle accident while he was young, his father, Naoyuki, turned to alcohol and gambling to cope. As a result, the two were constantly fighting until Naoyuki dislocated Tomoya’s shoulder. Tomoya began withdrawing from others when he could not participate on his basketball team. He has had a distant relationship with his father ever since then, inevitably becoming a delinquent over time. On his way to school, Tomoya meets a weird girl named Furukawa Nagisa and wonders if she likes the school. He finds himself assisting her, and as time passes, Tomoya’s life begins to take a new turn.
