The Kurohy: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinsh spin-off series was developed by Sega and Syn Sophia for the PSP. It is a portable spin-off of the central Ryu ga Gotoku series. The game tells a side tale that has nothing to do with the recognized canon for the series and focuses on Tatsuya, a high school gang member. Even if the scenario has changed, the game will still occur in Kamurocho, the city that has become synonymous with the series. Only in Japan was the game made available to the public.
