Nishimura Kyoutarou Travel Mystery: Akugyaku no Kisetsu Tokyo Nanki Shirahama Renzoku Satsujin Jiken

This is the first of Kyoutarou Nishimura’s murder mystery stories to be released on the PSP platform. You play as a police inspector attempting to solve a string of killings. The “crossbow murders” were committed on a hot July night. Victims are discovered with images of ladies in bikinis in their hands. You’ll need to use your reasoning skills to find the murderer, follow them down, and dismantle the alibi that appears to be the backbone of a flawless crime. The identical title was released for the 3DO in 1994; that version employed live-cast and photo backdrops, whereas this version does not and uses silhouette-like figures and CG backgrounds. This is not a remake of the 3DO game but a different approach to delivering the same tale.
