Samurai Dou Portable

Way of the Samurai Portable, like the original game, tells the story of a wandering samurai who is drawn into a vicious power struggle between three opposing factions, each vying for control of a small region known as Rokketsu Pass. The player can directly influence the story’s structure and overall length of the game by interacting with members of each faction as they work towards one of six endings. At the heart of the game is a complex sword-fighting system in which stance, blade type/condition, and movement all play equal roles. Way of the Samurai is an action game that is as much about negotiation and politics as it is about sword duels. Though essentially a direct port of the PS2 original, some changes to the control scheme have been made to facilitate the transition to a new platform. A moderate reduction in graphic fidelity is noticeable when the two versions are compared. There have been no significant additions or changes to the in-game content.
