This alternate version of the classic Chinese historical novel “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” continues the story. Shin Koihime Musou includes all of the characters from Koihime Musou and new ones making their debut in this game, more than 50 characters. Shin KoihimeMus: Otome Ryran Sangokushi Engi ( ) was released on December 26, 2008. It is a retelling of the first video game with several new characters. In this revised edition, the player must choose which faction Hong Kazuto should ally with at the start, resulting in three paths. A PSP version is also available. However, it’s separated into three discs, each covering one group. All three were released in 2010, with the Go disc arriving on September 22, the Gi disc standard on October 28, and the Shoku on November 25. On November 10, 2011, the PS2 version was released.
