SSX on Tour

In this version of the SSX franchise, you can customize your skier or snowboarder and hit the slopes. Rather than boarding your way to the event as in previous versions, you select the challenge you want to participate in using a different front-end interface that looks like a cross between MTV and a doodle book. Thanks to improved controls that make “Monster Jumps” (Uber Tricks) easier to perform, everyone can look like a pro without learning button combos. As previously stated, repeating the same trick will not earn you the points needed to advance your skier/snowboarder from novice to “black-diamond-dominating rockstar.” The game promises big jumps, a quick pace, and a plethora of colorful, detailed slopes. As special characters, the GameCube version includes Mario, Luigi, and Peaches on the slopes. Each character has its own set of moves accompanied by Mario-style music.
