Super Monkey Ball Adventure

Our four Super Monkey Ball heroes – Aiai, Meemee, Baby, and Gongon – were having a typical day when they noticed a flying machine crash land on a nearby island. They soon discovered that the mysterious Naysayers had appeared, sowing discord and unhappiness throughout the island. To top it all off, the neighboring islands’ prince and princess have gone missing on Jungle Island – if they aren’t found and returned, there will be trouble! Can our heroes bring back order to Monearth? Super Monkey Ball Adventure takes the previous games’ monkey-rolling madness and adds a story to it. Players move around the various islands of Monearth, talking to citizens and performing the tasks they request (such as delivering sandwiches, finding a missing baby, rescuing rare flowers, and more) to cheer them up. Certain island areas are locked by ‘Puzzle Gates,’ which can only be unlocked by completing the puzzle stages in front of the gate. Each pad whisks you away to a different Puzzle Realm. The Puzzle Realm stages are Super Monkey Ball’s more familiar gameplay – simple-looking stages in which players must carefully (but quickly) roll their monkey to the finish line within the time limit. Bananas can also be collected throughout the game and used as currency to unlock new playable characters and puzzle levels. They can also be given to specific disgruntled citizens. As they progress through the game, the monkeys will learn magical chants that will allow them to climb walls, set fire to their monkey’s ball, attack with a boxing glove, and more. Popular Party Games, such as Monkey Race, Monkey Target, and Monkey Fight, are also included in Super Monkey Ball Adventure. Three new games: ‘Monkey Cannon’ – launch monkeys at enemy towers to steal their bricks. ‘Monkey Bounce’ – with your opponents, bounce on a trampoline-like platform and claim as many squares as possible. ‘Monkey Tag’ – roll around a globe collecting as many balloons as possible.
