On September 1, 2005, the second edition of the Heat the Soul series, Bleach: Heat the Soul 2, was available for purchase. The song “Chance!” by Uverworld was chosen as the game’s theme. Hitoshi Sakimoto and Kazuo Hanzawa (under the alias “NON”) were responsible for the game’s musical composition. The story mode in Heat the Soul 2 picks up where the first game left off and involves 12 different playable characters. It begins with the Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc and continues through the end of the Soul Society: The Rescue arc.
On the other hand, this game’s story mode differs from Heat the Soul’s in that rather than following a single, predetermined plot; you can instead follow the journey of any character you choose. For instance, if you select Ichigo Kurosaki as your character, you will participate in all his battles against the Shinigami. On the other hand, if you choose Kuchiki Byakuya as your character, you will be tasked with preventing Ichigo and his allies from rescuing Rukia Kuchiki.
