Busou Shinki is a line of miniature, armored female action figures produced by Konami Digital Entertainment that was initially introduced in Japan in 2006. The figures can be posed in many ways and include a range of interchangeable pieces. Many of the figures were created by well-known Japanese artists, and some have been made available for sale outside of Japan. This toy line has created a media franchise that includes video games, manga series, graphic novels, anime series, music, art books, and other items. Konami completed Busou Shinki Battle Masters for the PlayStation Portable, launched on July 15, 2010. A limited edition bundle with new action figurines was included in the release. On September 22, 2011, a sequel PSP game, Busou Shinki Battle Masters Mk.2, was launched, which also contained a limited edition bundle with additional action figures.
