Clannad: Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de Gekan

Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de () is a linear visual novel with full voice-acting (for dialogues and descriptions alike) that tells 8 stories from the world of Clannad that have not been covered in either the anime series or the original game, with this release being the second out of two volumes (featuring the final 8 out of 16 overall short episodes). Episodes can be played in any order and are created as visual, sound novels, with each chapter containing chapters that allow the player to skip forward or backward. Still, the speed of the story cannot be changed, and dialogues and descriptions, which are fully voiced, offer no way of cutting at the press of a button, as regular visual novels do. During talks, no visible characters face the player because it is a visual story being told, with distinctive art stills occasionally projected over part of the background or as CG events in full screen.
