Personality+, an all-new feature that sees individual abilities reflected in the game, enabling clear differentiation for every player, reinvents player authenticity – on and off the ball – for every player and at every position on the pitch in FIFA 11. With Personality+, a footballer’s abilities on the field are authentically mirrored in the game, resulting in unique personalities. Players will be distinguished by a sophisticated database that evaluates and grades each player’s skill set across 36 attributes and 57 traits, as compiled by 1700 scouts worldwide. Real Madrid’s Kaka will deliver crisp, creative passes, Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta will dribble through defenses with tighter turns and close control, Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney will hold off defenders and strike shots from distance with pace, and top-flight defenders like Juventus’ Giorgio Chiellini will anticipate, predict, and react to offensive players to regain possession. Personality+ has also been administered to goalkeepers. The keeper’s real-life personality, whether acrobatic or traditional, will dictate his game style. Dive attributes will determine keepers’ ability to reach for longer shots. In contrast, reflex details will determine reaction times, so a keeper like Petr Cech of Chelsea FC can demonstrate world-class skills.
