The sequel to Juiced, this version expands on the original by providing the player with an in-depth look at the culture of car tuning and drifting, as well as authentic music used at events and female models to showcase alongside the cars. Players can also race in a variety of events, including drifting, in which players earn points and nitrous refills the longer they keep their car sideways around a corner, as well as playing for pinks, in which cars are put on the line with the winner keeping the loser’s car, and even the classic simple racing to the finish line. There is also a career mode in which the player advances through closed-in courses, as opposed to the original, which had the player avoid traffic, while this version has a more organized feel. There are authentic Exotics, European, Old Muscle, and New Muscle cars to choose from and hundreds of actual racing parts, giving them thousands of customization options, including the ability to customize labels and logos. They can also hire fire crews to work on the cars and compete against the game’s depicted real-life drivers and teams. Racing occurs worldwide, from England to San Francisco, and even in Australia and Rome’s famed Coliseum. Each version is nearly identical, except for the graphics, which vary depending on the capabilities of each system, and the track layout in the Xbox 360 version is slightly different. The Paris track is missing from the PSP version.
