NBA Live 08

NBA Live 08 is another EA Sports basketball game released for 2007-2008. NBA Live 08 features Quick Play, Season, Playoffs, Dynasty, All-Star Weekend, FIBA World Championship, 1-on-1, and Practice modes. Marv Albert and Steve Kerr conduct the commentary. NBA Live 08 introduces new elements such as “Go To Moves,” “Hot Spots,” “Quick Strike Ballhandling,” and “Own the Paint.” The modes of NBA Live 07’s “Freestyle Superstars” and “X-Factor” have been eliminated. Argentina, China, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, and the United States compete in the FIBA World Championship style. NBA Live 08’s rosters have been updated for 2007-2008. Most NBA players from the 2007-2008 season are featured in NBA Live 08. Today’s NBA stars appear in the game, including LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Chris Paul, Yao Ming, and Tim Duncan. There is also internet play, in addition to the game variants. The Slam-Dunk Contest, 3-point Shootout, Rookie vs. Sophomore game, and All-Star game are all available in the All-Star Weekend mode. The game’s main mode, Dynasty mode, lasts 30 years. Dynasty mode is similar to Season mode in that you can pick rookies, sign coaches and free agents, scout players, and do other things at the end of each season.
