ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 is a golf simulation with an unusual control scheme. Unlike other golf simulations, the tee is played in the first person. After selecting the club and foot position, the player must use both analog sticks. He simulates the swing with the left and relocates his body weight with the right. It is not enough to move it in the appropriate direction; the player must maintain a steady back-and-forth movement. This only works with a gamepad; a more typical three-click control system is in the third person. The player selects the body weight movement before the attack. He strikes out with the first click, determines the precision with the second, and strengthens with the last. However, this differs from other golf simulations in that the swing type is selected by the swing parameters rather than being specified beforehand. The game modes are less inventive. The game includes formal training, single tournament, and career modes. The career mode, on the other hand, is simply a series of tournaments spliced together. With each victory, the player character’s rank rises. However, this only affects participation requirements in future contests, not gameplay. The game includes nine licensed golfers, 18 licensed courses, and three real-life golf commentators. The editor allows the player to create their studies and tournaments.
