QIX++ is an Xbox Live Arcade recreation of the game QIX with high-definition visuals. The game aims to defeat the “QIX” by cutting off more than 75% of the playing area with the user-controlled marker. You will move to the next level whenever 75% of the playing area has been chopped off. The QIX will appear as waves, growing triangle patterns, and floating circles in the game. Energy pulses at the edge of the playing area can also impede you in-game and cost you a life if you come into touch with them. You do, however, receive some assistance while playing. You will get a helpful boost if you cut off a region with a pick-up. These take the form of point increases and temporary invincibility. You must finish two stages, each with eight sections. Multiplayer mode allows you to battle against up to four other players or bots locally or online. The goal of QIX++ in multiplayer is the same as in single-player, except you are now racing to be the first to empty the board.
