Record of Agarest War: Marriage

Agarest Senki Mariage is a subseries of the Record of Agarest War. Unlike the other games in the series, it is not an SRPG but a more traditional Japanese-style role-playing game featuring a fighting system akin to Final Fantasy X’s conditional turn-based battle system. Characters are allocated one of four roles: Attacker, Defender, Supporter, or Conductor, and acquire experience in that capacity in addition to everyday experience. Characters can enhance their stats and learn new talents by spending particular goods and money on Reinforcement. Composition allows you to employ specific interests and gold to create new armor. Affection for heroines can be increased through engaging in group skills in battle, conversing with them in the inn, or participating in a ceremonial mini-game. Mariage substitutes Soul Breeding with the Honeymoon system, allowing you to live the game’s newly-married life after marrying the heroine. The gender of offspring is no longer limited to males; girls can also be born by meeting certain circumstances. Gender and the heroine’s attachment level influence the offspring’s stats.
