Great Battles of Rome: The History Channel is a real-time strategy game based on Roman history. You may play all of the critical conflicts from Roman history in this game. You can view (up to 50 minutes of) TV footage from The History Channel’s documentaries on Rome in between missions. Furthermore, the story of Marcus Aurelius is entirely voice-acted. The gameplay is identical to Slitherine’s previous title Legion Arena: On a 3D map, you command your armies in real-time. There is no resource collecting or city building, but at the end of each combat, you are given points that can be spent to buy new units or upgrade surviving units that you bring with you to the next battle. The game has 14 separate campaigns with over a hundred different battles. There are 20 different sorts of units, each of which can be personalized with various talents and clothes.
