The Idolmaster SP ( アイドルマスターエスピーAidorumasut Esu P, formally styled as THE iDOLM STER SP) is a series of three Japanese raising simulation video games that were produced and distributed by Namco Bandai Games. These games are a part of the Idolmaster series. As a part of The Idolmaster, these three games were made available on the PlayStation Portable on February 19, 2009, under the names Perfect Sun ( パーフェクトサン Pfekuto San), Missing Moon ( ミッシングムーン Misshingu Mn), and Wandering Star (ワンダリングスター Wandaringu Sut). Changes have been made to the gameplay of Super Paper Mario compared to its predecessor, including the addition of a promising system that places a greater emphasis on communication. The games come with three modes: two for single players and one for up to three players to play together in a multiplayer format. The narrative is narrated from the perspective of a producer responsible for educating 10 aspiring pop idols on their journey to popularity, and each version of SP contains a different cast of pop idols.
