It’s time to ask, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” again. This 2006 installment (based on the original UK show) reinvents the franchise with a new cast of insane characters, new game types, and a more comprehensive multiplayer game. The aim, as always, is to answer 15 questions correctly to win a million dollars, using your Life Lines to help you get through the difficult questions if you think you need it. In a Millionaire experience presented by Chris Tarrant, you can select your on-screen candidate from 16 distinct and eager contestants. Up to four players can compete in the multiplayer game, which now includes a quick-fire round, a Millionaire party, and a play or pass mode in which you can pass difficult questions to another player. This edition includes 4,000 new questions and an extra feature in which players who win the large Millionaire pound reward are given a code to enter on the game’s website, allowing them to boast about their achievement to other virtual millionaires.
