WipEout Pure

The long-running Wipeout video game franchise has made its way onto the PSP with the release of WipEout Pure. The FX300 Racing League is futuristic in that players compete. They take control of fast hovercrafts and race them through tight tracks with tight corners, striving for first place in one of several different tournaments. Ten that-gravity vehicles can be used (two need to be unlocked before they can be used), and each has its speed, acceleration, and handling capabilities. The vehicles themselves are further subdivided into classes, which are revealed in stages. In subsequent courses, most cars get significantly quicker, necessitating more precise handling when traveling at high speeds. Similarly, players can unlock new competitions.
