Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance

This version of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance follows the same tale and has many gameplay parallels to the console release of the game, but it also differs dramatically from that release in appearance and in the gameplay elements that it offers. Isometric perspectives and two-dimensional visuals are utilized in the game due to the constraints imposed by the portable device on which it is played. The action role-playing game gameplay system from the console version is carried over into this release; however, the player character cannot leap in this game iteration. In this game iteration, the player is only given the option of controlling a human character (as opposed to the pre-made human, elf, and dwarf characters available in the console release). The player still has the option of placing the human hero in any one of the three classes that are accessible, which are warrior, archer, or wizard.
