Space Invaders

The objective of the classic arcade game Space Invaders is for the player to defend the planet from an onslaught of invading aliens while operating a laser gun that must be moved horizontally across the bottom of the screen. The objective of the game is to eliminate all of the aliens, which are arranged in rows of five and travel horizontally back and forth across the screen as they get closer to the bottom of the screen. Some versions of the game have varying numbers of aliens. The laser cannon is the weapon for the player to eliminate alien foes and rack up scores in this game.
