Superman: Countdown to Apokolips

Lois Lane has been abducted, and only Superman can save her! Apokolip agents have arrived in Metropolis to disgrace Superman in front of the world, right in his backyard. Enlisting the help of local crime godfather Bruno Mannheim, leader of the renowned Intergang, evil emissary, Kanto delivers the gang with out-of-this-world weaponry capable of taking down Superman. While Superman is occupied bringing the Intergang criminals to justice, the beastlike Kalibak seizes the chance to kidnap Lois and transport her to a remote, secret location. Meanwhile, the bundle of energy Livewire has escaped from Strykers Island Prison and seeks vengeance on the man who placed her there–Superman.
