Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4

THPS4 is the fourth installment of Activision’s wildly successful franchise. The new career mode is the game’s central feature. When you start a level, you have all the time to skate around, do tricks, and get a feel for the level without worrying about goals or time constraints. When you’re ready to try a goal, simply locate a pro skater, chat with him, and then acquire the goal, like in Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX. Goals are similar to past games, such as collecting SKATE, accumulating a particular number of points, transferring over this, and grinding that. However, there are additional objectives, such as managing the word COMBO while performing one large combo. If a trick is missed, the goal is lost. After completing all ordinary goals, you may attempt the Pro Goal, which is unique to each skater and incredibly difficult. Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Rune Gilfberg, Eric Koston, Bucky Lasek, Bam Margera, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, Elissa Steamer, and Jamie Thomas are also present.
